I only purchased this DVD to create my own version of the film, combining the German transfer with the original Czech audio from the Japanese PAL-fieldblended-to-NTSC release.

However, I was very disappointed to discover, that the disc suffers from the same issue I pointed out in my reviews of "Conan the Barbarian" & "Fistful of Dollars." In this case, parts of the video stream are progressive, while others seem to be interlaced. Closer inspection reveals there's a field missing at the end of each progressive part, making the next part look... quite horrible:

This seems to come from the same source as the Japanese edition (the same print damage), but - being a native PAL transfer - it's progressive, which is good enough a reason for me to justify the triple-dip. (c: But I guess the Crisis must have finally hit Bonton, since this is the first time I don't see their "trademark" set of extras - 3 interviews, photogallery, and a bunch of filmographies...
