From the booklet:

At the 85-minute mark, the look of the film changes for about 30 seconds [see the last picture in our gallery] - it was impossible to restore that scene better. All existing 35mm source materials were examined, and each of them presents the final scene in this form. Presumably, the sequence was damaged long ago during copying.

Moreover, I spotted 3 (three!) interlaced frames (mouse over the links below to toggle between the images)!! Like, dude, seriously!!! :-D
