If there ever was a fairy tale the majority of Slovaks (or my generation at least ;-)) associate Christmas with, Jakubisko's "Perinbaba" is the proverbial it. (c: Christmas without "Perinbaba" on the telly would be like... No! Such an abomination can't possibly exist in this universe! Anyway, it does not come as a surprise that SFI's DVD beats the crap out of what we were being served by the aforementioned telly all these years - vibrant colours (see the gallery below), clean as a whistle:

Unfortunately, for a picture where, in every other scene, it snows feathers, flower petals and even snow (!), the encoder and/or single-layer media used were less than adequate (the following examples are blown-up to 200 %):
