"Would you believe it when you're dead?!" I just love The Green Slime! :-D And this Warner Archive Collection release sure is a welcome alternative to the "composite" version I made myself by syncing TCM's English soundtrack w/ the Japanese widescreen edition. (I say "alternative" - not a replacement, because the Japanese version is a different cut of the film; indeed, I had to leave a scene or two in Japanese, as they were not present in the English-language cut.) Anyway, despite the quite significant amount of cropping on both sides, I give the more "vivid" WAC transfer the edge over Toei's "bleak" one...
