Notes:
Although positively better looking than the Eclectic DVD, the French release sports the same, or - in some cases - worse damage, as you can see in the following examples:

Artus Films (frame 29368 | 33717 / 33718 | 80940 | 88376 | 94927 / 94928 | 119406 / 119407)
Eclectic DVD Distribution (frame 35053 | 40214 / 40215 | 96837 | 105751 | 113611 / 113612 | 143012 / 143013)
Incredibly Strange Filmworks (frame 34584 | 39746 / 39747 | 96303 | 105218 | 113078 / 113079 | 142479 / 142480)
Raro Video (frame 29319 | 33595 / 33596 | ??? | ??? | 94069 / 94070 | 118217 / 118218)

Artus Films (frame 29368)

Besides the usual dirt, scratches, and whatnot, I also spotted a strange artefact - better described by the examples below - appearing multiple times throughout the film, usually lasting the entire shot:

Artus Films (frame 52559 | 89878 | 92822)
Eclectic DVD Distribution (frame 62802 | 107552 | 111087)
Incredibly Strange Filmworks (frame 62334 | 107019 | 110554)
Raro Video (frame 52374 | 89021 | 91965)

Artus Films (frame 52559)

Another problem is that the transfer seems to have been taken from some kind of a field-based (i.e. not progressive) source, as evidenced by a very slight combing (not real interlacing, mind you), and a few odd interlaced frames here & there:

Artus Films (frame 89881 | 104996 / 104997)
Eclectic DVD Distribution (frame 107562 | 125683 / 125684)
Incredibly Strange Filmworks (frame 107029 | 125149 / 125150)
Raro Video (frame 89024 | ??? / ???)

Artus Films (frame 89881)

The last thing I thought I'd mention is an abrupt cut in the film's only topless scene (see below). It might be intentional, but who knows...?

Artus Films (frame 69147 / 69148)
Eclectic DVD Distribution (frame 82691 / 82692)
Incredibly Strange Filmworks (frame 82224 / 82225)
Raro Video (frame 68313 / 68314)

Notes:
To begin with, many thanks to Steve N. a.k.a. Squonkamatic @ The Latarnia Forums for making this comparison possible! (c:

Now, to cut it short, let's mercifully forget about the 2 American (bootleg?) editions, and focus on the European ones. To cut it even shorter:

Artus Films
+ anamorphic
+ better looking (at least to my eyes)
+ complete (I've no reason to think otherwise)
− not English-friendly

Raro Video
+ English-friendly
− looking worse than the French version (there's also a greenish tinge to the picture)
− missing a couple of snippets of footage here & there (refer to our gallery below & the print damage samples in the Artus Films review above)
− non-anamorphic

Bottom line:
If youDoNotNeedEnglishFriendliness ' ;-)
BuyTheFrenchDVD()
Else
BuyTheFrenchDVD() ' just for the visuals
