| Notes: | Excuse me, what year is this? 2008? You sure? Judging by the VHS-sourced, washed-out look, I'd say a freak wormhole must have opened up in the fabric of the space-time continuum, and carried this one over from far far back in time, or from beyond, as the case may be... (c: Seriously, it's a mystery to me why Magic Box used such shitty master, when for example Czech Television managed to get a perfectly good one for their TV broadcast. Well, not perfectly perfect - I tend to think the Japanese one is even better, albeit a bit on the (overly) bright side. If it wasn't for the burnt-in subtitles... *difference between channels is -51.83 dB (0.26 %) **the subtitles are enabled by default, but it's possible to turn them off using the remote ***played automatically upon starting the DVD, but it's possible to skip them |

Well, it seems I can finally retire my Japanese DVD of "Everything I Love," which - up until now - I considered the best of the assorted versions I compared on this here page; SFI's newly remastered Blu-ray is *so* much better I didn't even bother including screenshots from the other versions in the HD gallery - the night [literally, you can see *no* detail in the shadows in any of the SD masters] & day difference is clearly visible even in the "thumbnails" below... Heartily recommended! |
