The disc starts with the SFI logo, followed by ads for Klapka.sk & The Daily SME. The former is actually a short interview with Zdena Studenková (1:00, in Slovak), who speaks about her role in Stanislav Párnický's "Južná pošta" ("The Southern Mail").

SFI did it again - delivers another marvellous resto! More's the pity their encodes are not allowed enough room to "breathe" - not filling even the measly DVD5 capacity, where a DVD9 (or - gasp! - a Blu-ray) would be more appropriate. Let me demonstrate: Observe the aesthetically pleasing shot of the reedy bog, all reflections & stuff, through which our hero wades on his way home... Yes, the second example is "The Wading in Progress," all ugly macroblocks... and stuff. (c:

RE the DVB recording (below): "Živý bič" is actually a made-for-TV film in two parts (the recording) - this here DVD comprises its shortened, theatrical version.

RE the different look of the bitrate graphs: I recorded the 2nd part in February, 2008 - I missed the 1st part then, but managed to catch it during the reprise in August, 2009. I guess STV must have changed their broadcast system in the meantime.
