The booklet mentions an interesting fact: The music for the film was recorded stereophonically, which - at that time - required special playback equipment. Unfortunately, the soundtrack we're presented with here is the usual 2.0 mono affair...

Comes in a foldout digipak; there's no booklet, but Štefan Uher's profile (1 page, in Slovak & English) is printed on the side of the digipak itself.

Compared to "Pictures of the Old World," here the bump to HD appears much more significant; no wonder, really, given this is a widescreen film, and the old DVD was not even anamorphically enhanced.
The increased level of detail aside, these do look like the same master, just zoomed-in slightly on the Blu.
