This is a recording from ČT1 HD's digital satellite broadcast. Its purpose here is to provide a kind of reference for the DVD release reviewed above.

I recorded this on May 30, 2020, but there's also an earlier recording in my archive, from August 12, 2014 - they aired the film heavily cropped (1.66:1) then; interestingly enough, the opening title sequence had actually been reformatted / recreated for the narrower aspect ratio to preserve the text intact:

As expected, this 2025 Blu-ray release uses the same master that first (AFAIK) aired on Czech TV in 2020 already, and it's not a full-fledged restoration, just a (then) new scan.

There are a few night-time scenes that seem to have been shot "day-for-night" and were fittingly colour-timed on the old DVD, but neither of the newer HD scans respects that - have the comrades from the NFA made a mistake...?
