| Notes: | At this point, the Spanish "Daisies" are the best looking... um, "Daisies" ;-) in existence - it's as simple as that. In comparison with the other 2 versions available, the sharpness is a good deal better, and the colours more saturated (in some cases, however, it's the other way around - see e.g. the very first triplet of frames below; the Japanese one is practically black & white, the Spanish one sort of brownish, while Facets are... sort of blueish ;-)). Framing differs a little, showing more-or-less picture here & there... (c: I'd say if you're able to follow spoken Czech / written Spanish, this is the way to go! *difference between channels is -33.67 dB (2.07 %) **in Czech with burnt-in Spanish subtitles |

- "Naughty Young People: Chytilova, Kucera, Krumbachova,"

Disc 2 (Audio CD), exclusive to the Limited Edition (300 copies)- Soundtrack (34:36, 19 tracks)
- 24-page booklet (in German)
| Notes: | Not much of a contest here - the HD master (colour-corrected and encoded for Blu-ray by none other than David Mackenzie - if you saw any of Mondo Vision's stellar Żuławski releases, you know what I'm talking about) Bildstörung acquired for their take on "Daisies" is simply a pleasure to behold. Extras-wise, the highly informative docu (incorporating clips from the film in a very creative / playful way) and the commentary track + the fairly thick booklet (with essays by Martin Gobbin and Daniel Bird) blow the combined effort of the competitors out of the water! The only downside is that you need to understand German to get the most out of this excellent package (or at least ;-) Czech and English, missing out "only" on the booklet). |
