I'm not sure what I should think about this DVD. In comparison with the [broadcast] version below, the print is cleaner (see e.g. frame 106456), however, it's also cropped, and the colours seem to be washed-out. It's quite possible that it's the STV 2's version that's got the "wrong" colours (it might be oversaturated), but notice e.g. frame 72401 - it's B & W on the DVD, and I think that's not right...

Now, to anybody who likes the film, and has got the 2006 Havetta collection already: this is definitely worth the double-dip! The difference in picture quality is like night & day - compared to other Czechoslovak (colour) films from the 60's (released mainly by CČV/Bonton), one would be hard pressed to say this film is really 40 (well, 39 ;-)) years old!
